Hunter Dietz

Hunter Dietz is a Red Diamond 96 OVR Starting Pitcher card for the Yankees, part of the 2026 Draft set in MLB The Show's Diamond Dynasty. He throws left-handed. The card was added to Diamond Dynasty in July 2026.

On the mound, Hunter Dietz works with a 5-pitch arsenal led by a 98 mph 4-Seam Fastball and a 89 mph Cutter. His pitching ratings include 92 Velocity, 77 Control, and 99 Break. The profile favors a movement-heavy arsenal built to miss bats. Notable quirks include Break Outlier from a total of 3 quirks.

DiamondOps grades each pitch in Hunter Dietz's arsenal: Slider (S), 4-Seam Fastball (S), Cutter (S), Circle Change (A), and Curveball (B). 3 of them grade S-tier, which is what separates a genuine out-pitch mix from a deep-but-flat arsenal. Its strongest tunnel pairing is the Cutter off the Slider, so the two share a release look. Velocity works against the card here — its 92 mph 4-Seam Fastball is slow enough to cost it in the arsenal score. Arsenal grades are the same at every difficulty — unlike a hitter's OpScore, a pitch mix does not re-weight as you climb.

Hunter Dietz is not currently traded on the open Diamond Dynasty market — cards like this are typically earned through programs or collections rather than bought with stubs.

OpScore is DiamondOps' composite rating of a card's in-game performance value. Hunter Dietz earns an OpScore of 88 on Legend difficulty, ranking #943 among all cards and #170 among Starting Pitchers.
